Children and adults with sensory dysfunction are bombarded by sound, movement, smell, texture, and taste that can not be registered appropriately by the nervous system. Helping them cope with or overcome sensory integration challenges changes lives, as clients are able to dress, eat, learn, travel, work, or play.

Getting along in the world depends on a complex, subtle set of actions, patterns, emotions, and observations. For children who struggle with social or emotional issues, appropriate interventions play an essential role in the success that these clients attain in family life, school, and the greater world.
